Perfect Girls Installation Events: May 15 — October 30, 2011
When I was Perfect. A collection of personal photos and captions submitted by women and anyone identifying as female. Selected images will be an artist book.
5 Afternoon Salons. Relaxed and intimate community events, provided the opportunity to view the installation and engage with the artist and other visitors.
Two Conversation Dinners provided a chance to meet others and share ideas by discussing Perfect Girls over dinner. Meals were provided by guest chefs.
A Conversation Dinner Closing Party and Fundraiser on Saturday, October 22, 2011 brought 20 women together to share their Perfect Girl stories and to raise funds for Kristen Arant and the Young Women's Drumming Empowerment Project (YWDEP).
